Resignation from The Jerusalem Post
Here is the letter that was sent out today about my resignation as Executive Editor of The Jerusalem Post.
Dear friends and colleagues,
After eight years of fruitful work my journey at The Jerusalem Post has come to an end for now. On the strong advice of my medical team I have decided to focus my energies on regaining my health and strength – and for this endeavor I need time, patience and perseverance. It is thus with a heavy heart that I have today tendered my resignation, due to deterioration in my health, from the position of Executive Editor. The ‘Post has, and will continue to be, my home, and you, my family. I wish you health, happiness and success in all that you do, and I leave happy in the knowledge that the paper is in excellent hands. Always remember that your work is vitally important for our tiny, beleaguered and wondrous nation and all who love her. Remember also that The Jerusalem Post Group is lucky to have you. A special thank you to David Horovitz and Steve Linde for their tireless support and encouragement over the years.
Yours,
Amir Mizroch

Amir,
it was always instructive to read your posts and write-ups. May I wish you the strong health and quick recovery from whatever problems you have.
I think I prefer the old page layout…nevertheless, a dramatic and determined letter my friend.
Congratulations and good luck my brother!
